“It’s always a pleasure discovering great new artists, and Freddy & Francine currently top my list.  There is definitely a palpable chemistry between these musicians, with their vocals blending like milk and honey, forming a sound they coin as Americana Soul.  It is no wonder these two hit it off both on and off stage.” - No Depression

"You probably haven’t seen this much chemistry since your required high school courses. LA-based “soul Americana” duo Freddy & Francine have the type of pull towards each other that transforms individual talent into a collaborative fire..." - Emore Magazine

“The real draw here is the sensational natural blend of their vocals. Some voices just seem made for each other with the ability to weave into a singular force of vocal performance. Ferris and Caruso have found their respective vocal soulmates, the kind of perfect harmonies that send a gripping shiver down the backbone of the listener.” - Zach Hodson, The Deli Magazine

Americana/Soul power duo knockout!

View Webcast

We are STILL recovering from Freddy & Francine's performance at Blue Rock's 10th Birthday SXSW event... and now they're coming BACK for a full Blue Rock LIVE concert!

Freddy & Francine is an Americana/Soul duo featuring singer songwriters Lee Ferris and Bianca Caruso. Drawing from influences like Ray LaMontagne, Brandi Carlile, The Swell Season, Ryan Adams and The Rolling Stones, No Depression describes Freddy & Francine as “Americana Soul, complete with tight two-part harmonies, engaging songs that will shoot deep into your heart, and a musical chemistry that is second-to-none in the L.A. Americana scene.”

Between 2008 and 2010, Freddy & Francine became favorites on the Los Angeles live circuit, building a word-of-mouth following and drawing crowds to regular gigs at venues that include Hotel Café, Vermont Restaurant, McCabe’s and the Cinema Bar. A feature of their song “Brownstone Alley” as TOP TUNE on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic helped to bolster the group’s iTunes sales for their self titled EP and their first album, “The Briar Patch.”

A three year hiatus saw Lee Ferris touring the globe as Carl Perkins with Broadway’s “Million Dollar Quartet” while Bianca Caruso recorded and released her debut solo record “Bravado” on Randm Records, but with a loyal following hungry for their return, Freddy & Francine’s 2014 reunion found them right where they left off, selling out shows at venues in and around L.A. and touring extensively throughout the West Coast, the Southwest, the East Coast and the Midwest.

In just a short time, excitement for Freddy & Francine’s powerful and compelling stage show has lead them to a three week residency at L.A.’s prestigious Hotel Cafe, featured performance slots at the 2015 Sisters Folk Festival, an official showcase at the 2015 SWRFA and FAR-West Folk Alliance Conferences, and a concert with the Madison Square Park Conservancy’s Studio Series in New York City.

Freddy and Francine has a brand new CD release, Gung Ho, a full tour schedule, and we can't wait to celebrate their return to Blue Rock!
