Kelly Willis is the alluring voice and songwriting talent who pioneered both Americana and the Texas young country scene with her 1990 debut Well-Travelled Love, and her breakthrough hit albumWhat I Deserve hailed by TIME Magazine as “the smartest, most consistently worthwhile country CD” to have been released that year. Willis has proven she can do it all from contemporary to traditional and beyond with finesse, smarts and irresistible charm. Kelly has continued to write, perform and collaborate with some of country and roots music's best: Vince Gill, Dan Tyminski and Chris Thile. Her collaborative work, incidentally, has included raising the four children she has with husband, Bruce Robison.
Songwriter and performer Bruce Robison has made his biggest mark on the musical world writing indelible smash #1 hits like “Wrapped” (George Strait), “Angry All The Time” (Tim McGraw & Faith Hill) and “Travelin’ Soldier” (Dixie Chicks) while releasing a series of eight albums rich with his laconic yet potent grace and emotional dead aim as a writer and singer. His songwriting work ethic remains anchored to traditional values—strong storylines, compelling characters, hook-laden melodies. And, although it is as a songwriter that Robison has always defined himself, it’s as a performer that he feels most alive.
To the delight of their many fans, Bruce and Kelly are beginning to tour together. We look forward to welcoming them to their first performance on the Blue Rock Studio stage.

more as he has made himself heard in hearts across the country.
