LIVE @ 7:30 PM CST
Grammy award nominated neighbor returns for two nights. Live taping for DVD.

Eliza and her band brought the soul. If you were there, you know. You may comment or write a short review below. Thanks to Rodney Bursiel for the great photos.

An artist returns. Songbird and prophetess Eliza Gilkyson has made many artistic turns and geographical changes. Born in Hollywood, CA, Eliza soon found herself in Santa Fe, Taos, parts of Europe, and eventually Austin, TX…calling them all home. Her 2004 Red House Records release Land of Milk and Honey earned her a Grammy award nomination, and her follow up album Paradise Hotel is equally stunning. Her latest full length album Beautiful World was called her masterpiece by the All Music Guide, and is rich with songs about the human condition, the cultural paths we've taken, and those not taken.

Since her beautiful show here at Blue Rock in January of 2007, we’ve been anticipating the return of this graceful and important voice. Eliza will perform two intimate nights at Blue Rock, filming for DVD release. This is not one to be missed.
