"RED GUITAR AT BLUE ROCK" ~ A rare evening with Brooks, LIVE taping for new CD and video release!

Ranked in the Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists, Brooks Williams is one of the most versatile and entertaining performers on the acoustic roots music scene today. From Statesboro Georgia USA, he is a proverbial triple threat: a fiery guitarist, a smooth-as-silk vocalist, and stunning songwriter. In February 2014 he was nominated best male vocalist by the UK’s folk roots mavens, Spiral Earth.

fRoots says Williams is “absolutely beyond criticism!” He got his start in the clubs of New York and New England. 20 albums later —  his latest is the rootsy rockin’ New Everything — Williams’ music is genre defying, walking the line between blues and Americana. Imagine Doc Watson, Willie Nelson, Lonnie Johnson and Blind Boy Fuller sitting in a bar having a jam – and you’re just about there. Dirty Linen calls him one of “America’s musical treasures.”

In the time-honoured road-warrior tradition, Williams has honed his songs on stages from Dallas to London, Istanbul to Anchorage, Toronto to Dublin, Detroit to Glasgow, Nairobi to Belfast, New York to Sardinia. Recent appearances include Celtic Connections, Glastonbury, Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival, Ards Guitar Festival, Kerrville Festival and Moab Folk Festival. All in all, thousands of gigs over thousands of miles.
