...bright new class of Austin originals.

View Webcast

Two bright lights of a new class of Austin originals trading songs and stories.

Vocalist/fiddler/guitar player/songwriter Phoebe Hunt has an insatiable wanderlust that drives everything she does — from exploring her own musical styles to living the gypsy life of a touring musician.

A product first of the dynamic Austin, TX music scene, and then Nashville, she’s spent years on the road touring with such groups as the folk trio The Hudsons and the Americana roots group Belleville Outfit.  Now dividing her time between Austin and NYC, Phoebe Hunt’s award winning folk-pop sound showcases her sultry voice and sincere lyrics, as she artfully navigates through many musical landscapes pulling from the heart of the American soul. This past March, she returned to Austin to record Live at the Cactus Café before a live audience at the iconic University of Texas listening room.

CMA’s official magazine named Reed Turner one of their Top 20 “Who New to Watch in 2013,” and he followed that up by winning the prestigious Telluride Bluegrass Festival’s Troubadour Competition.

On his newest album GHOSTS IN THE ATTIC, Turner lends his voice to songs that run the stylistic gamut, while staying grounded in the Americana roots for which he’s become known. The “gorgeous new album” has received much critical acclaim, with one reviewer writing that Turner has “Americana poetry one might expect from the lyrics of The Avett Brothers, and an entrancing intimacy reminiscent of Jeff Buckley.”

Reed has lately been selling out such legendary Texas venues as Cactus Café and Stubb’s BBQ, and the buzz has led to a year of sharing stages with national touring acts such as Gary Clark Jr., Will Hoge, Joe Pug, and Jessica Lea Mayfield.
